I just finished playing Santa for the first time in my life and I must say if that job position is ever going to be available, I am gonna take it! :)
The gifts are all there under the tree now. Your father and I went for gift shopping together. That also was fun. You behaved well tonight: you agreed to brush your teeth as I told you that you need to smell good for Santa! And you agreed to go to bed early so Santa can visit us in time! hahaha if only Santa could do that every night!
I put the star on the top of the tree as you told me to! You learn about this stuff in daycare. Daddy has told you the Papa Noel story like 1000 times these days and in night times. The first time, you got so worried for Papa Noel and you said he will get burn if he comes down from the chimney! So daddy modified the story every time after with saying that we turn off the fireplace before Santa comes; and also Santa himself will test the chimney first to make sure it is not hot! In his version of Santa story, Santa is being polite and he nocks first but he nocks quietly not to wake anyones up! And then he uses the chimney. This part was added to the story cause the idea of someone coming to your house thru the chimney is kind of scary!
Then daddy was saying that Santa has a big bag and he is quit big himself too and he hardly can pass thru the chimney. You quickly suggested that Santa can only take YOUR gift with him when passing thru the chimney and not the whole bag of gifts! LOL
This is the first year that you actually understand the idea of Santa and gifts and are expecting Santa to bring you some gifts. You are so engaged with all the cartoons about Christmas. You even have wished for a big fire truck from Santa. A one that has a man, a woman, and a dog inside it!! I dont know if you have seen such a thing anywhere or it is just your cute imagination, but the closest thing that we could find was a big dump truck in Mastermind. Hope it makes you happy tomorrow morning :)
I cannot wait to see your reaction tomorrow morning. As for me, I already got the best Christmas gift of all ages tonight: you asked me to sit down so you can caress my hair ("nazi bokonam" as you say). As you were touching my hair with your sweet motions you said "pretty mandana" with a kindest smile and the most caring tone of voice! Oh dear sweat love! You sure know how to capture a woman's heart! hahahah I said I love you and then you said "I love you more!" .... I am surprised by you every day. Where do you learn all this stuff??
I wish Santa can visit more kids this year than ever before.
